Great staff and food. The buffet is always fresh since they only put small amounts at a time. The place is clean and easy to get in and out of since they share the lot with Giant Food. Giant also has Chinese but not nearly as fresh. They also have Thai food, but I haven't tried it yet.

We ordered lunch off of the menu since there were no other customers and don't know how long the food was sitting there. We tried the lunch serving of sesame chicken, which was fabulous, as well as the hot and spicy shrimp, which had 4 nice sized and delicious shrimp. The hot and sour shrimp was excellent as was the pork fries rice.

Solid Chinese restaurant. Ordered the sweet and sour chicken which was very good. Restaurant was quiet (Sunday evening). May be a better place for take out or a quick bite.

The food was fresh and delicious. Large portions at a great price. Great service. Very pleased about taking a chance and stopping in for some Chinese food for dinner. They don't skimp on meat! Yum.

We stopped in here because we were in a hurry (had to get to the high school for something), and we figured it would be fast because it was advertising itself as a buffet place. Thought we could walk in, get settled, and hit the buffet quickly, and get out. Better than fast food options (Wendy's or McDonald's) that were nearby. But we were wrong. Only 1 other party in the place (a couple), and the buffet was virtually non-existent. They had a couple of egg rolls sitting there, with a couple of other appetizers. No main entrees at all. And what was there looked like it had been there for 8 hours or so (all dried up & pathetic looking). I asked the waitress about it, and she replied that if we told her what we would like, she would go back and have the kitchen make some up fresh for the buffet. I tried to explain that we really did not have time for that, otherwise we would just order off the menu. She did not seem to understand the situation, so we basically just left. If you have the time to wait for food preparation, then this is probably a really good deal. You can have them make everything that you want to order, and pay for buffet pricing. Order 5 meals, and pay for 1. Not a good deal for the restaurant, but if that is how they want to operate their buffet, that's their choice. And maybe their food is really good - don't know as we did not have time to eat there.

Have not been here in many years. Maybe I know why... It is 7pm on a Saturday. We are the only customers here. Buffet is full of dried and shriveled food. Not very tasty or appetizing. Probably should have walked out but I was too darn hungry. Probably okay early in the evening but I did not think it would be this bad on a Saturday evening. Will I return? Given the other known options that are good in they area, probably not. Maybe someone on here can convince me otherwise. Sad thing, I have had better week old left overs and first generation military MREs. Even some 20 year old C rations as a kid were tastier.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
